Poster Contest
The annual poster contest is held in the spring and has the following age-group categories:
K-1st Grade; 2nd-3rd Grade; 4th-6th Grade; 7th-9th Grade;
10th-12th Grade
For 2024 -- the deadline is May 1st and the theme is:

Kenneth Fisk Memorial Scholarship
The Kenneth Fiske Memorial Conservation Scholarship seeks to provide scholarships for post- high school education. This scholarship will be awarded to students, with a permanent address in McHenry or Lake Counties in Illinois, who are attending, enrolled or planning to enroll full time at an accredited two- or four-year community college, college, or university, which will lead to a career in various fields of natural resources.
The application for this annual scholarship is due by February 15th of each year.

Soil & Water Stewardship Scholarship
The Soil and Water Stewardship Scholarship seeks to provide financial support to students enrolled fulltime at an accredited two- or four-year college, community college, or university, which will lead to a career in a natural resource field.
