Owners and
occupiers of land in McHenry and Lake County are
eligible to run for a board of directors
position. The Directors
are elected for two-year terms.
Elections will be on February 29, 2012.
Due to our recent consolidation, the entire
five-member board will be elected. Two
directors will be elected for a 1-year term
and 3 directors will be elected for a 2-year
term.
Normally
elections are held each January, with two
directors being elected in odd years and
three directors elected in even years.
Elected directors take office in March.
Owners and occupiers of land in
McHenry and Lake County are entitled to vote in the
election, held at the McHenry-Lake County SWCD
office.
